Cold Water machine ?? Envirospec??

I was looking at the recent flyer that I got in the mail from Envirospec. They offer kohler motor 18hp with various pumps etc ranging from 5.5gpm to 10gpm for what appears to be reasonable money. Anyone have anything to say about the quality of their machines and if the deals are reasonable.

I am looking at the kohler 18hp 2300psi 8.5gpm with tfs2221 pump for $1,565.32 or $1,665.32 with unloader water filter etc.

I will also be feeding this from a float tank and the unit is direct drive.

Let the feedback begin.
Thanks, Mike.

You will have problems if you are going to run from a buffer tank if it is direct drive, that pumps spins too fast to pull a good suction from a tank.

If it is gear drive then you might be ok pulling from a tank.

Running a surface cleaner for cleaning concrete will probably be a problem with only 2300psi.

That machine will probably be good for house washing and rinsing large areas from where your other machine cleaned the concrete.

spend the extra hundred buck or so and get the gear drive unit that John (envirospec) builds, they are tuff and will last longer than a direct drive!

I'm guessing if you look again it's a gear drive? The tsf2221 can't be run direct drive and I haven't seen a dd pump over 5 gallons/min. What's it going to be used for? I like their setups a lot, I haven't had one but I think they are more involved in the manufacture because it's an in house brand.

Correct...

...that is a gear drive unit.

Also, the TSF series have excellent draw capabilities.

The Kohler? Great engine.

The price? Shop around - no-one even comes close.

Homer, If you could, what would shipping and handling be to 07675 so that I know what I am in for total? Thanks, Mike.

Thanks for the comments so far guys...anyone else???

I looked at the espec machines at the florida roundtable I was impressed with how good they looked. well put together and your not going to go wrong with a kohler or a general pump. if your going to be running a surface cleaner stay with 3000psi if its just for house and building washes 2300 will be fine.

I have a landa 5.2 gpm @ 3500 and a declo rk42 5.0 @3000. I was looking to put a high gpm rinser/washer on the rig to keep the hours down (kinda) on the hot water machines. I am torn a bit though with the combos that espec offers ..... 5.5gpm @3500psi, 7gpm @2800 psi, 8.5gpm @2300, 10gpm @2000psi.
Each combo has their distinct purpose almost.....any recommendaions on the best all around one listed above??

Envirospec's pressure washers are hard to beat. Great service and great prices make them a must consider on any purchase!!!

It really depends on your needs, what are you wanting to use it for?

If it is for concrete cleaning, get more than 3000psi, if it is for rinsing, get the high volume machine.

All those numbers are to stay in the 18 hp range, and that is a smokin price, but maybe you could go up a few horsepower. Rinsing - I would take 10 at 2000, surface cleaner - I would take 10 at 2000.
