DJ, most all the ones I've seen (down here) had metal slats. Are you sure they are plastic and not powder coated metal slats? Either way your pricing and mine down here are 2 different things but I would only go about $300.00 per side at the most. Ya don't want to pizz off the man writting the checks at the dealership cause they will find someone new in a heartbeat! The gm's I've dealt with down here have always let contractors go real quick if they even thought they were being played. I sold cars for a long time and know how they opperate. Thats probably why the few I do work for have kept me. Dealerships are hard to work for. They are way more ruthless than resturaunts! Come back here and post about your experience with them in 3 months and tell me if I was right or wrong! Just go a little easy on them and they will keep you working!:)

okay guys thanks . . ..

Larry I am about to landscape for them for a second time and they are giving me a huge ammount of work to bid on and its all because 5 star (their rating company) came in and told them to get their **** together pretty much (thats from the marketing managers mouth LOL ) so you think i should take it easy and not try to hit em up so hard just yet?

is that what you meant?

I do work for Autoway Honda, Autoway chevy and Autoway Ford. They have inspections 2 times per yr and I have to do a special clean-up on top of their regular cleanings When they have their inspections they have corp people fly in from wherever to inspect the properties, the books etc... I always try to be fair with them on their cleaning prices and they know that they can count on me. They don't even ask me for a bid anymore. They just tell me what they want spiffed up. I've been doing work for them since Nov of 2003 when a GM saw my truck and sign on my back window at a red light just before an inspection. Been a good gig for me ever since. They even call me when they mess up on an oil change and the customers have leaks in their driveways. If you feel like you have a good relationship with them and can charge a high dollar and you and they feel it is fair then go for the higher $ amount. I would too! I just know what the dealerships in my area's budget looks like and I try to stay within it. Like I said, I've seen a few of their other service people get replaced just recently because of budget cuts and the fact that the companies were charging through the roof. JMO...:)

well i mean im not sure of thier budgets but all i know is that the corporate office said get the place cleaned up lol i think i know what to do im gonna bid it fair this time so i can get in real good cause i already mow there every week so i mean im a familiar face i also take care of the managers home property so i guess im pretty tight in there lol

thanks for the help larry

Cool beans... I didn't know you take care of them every week. I thought maybe you just re-did their landscaping for them.... Good Luck Scrappy Doo!:)
