Chemical Mixes

Does anyone have the mixtures for some of the more popular mixes of fleet washing detergents.

I have the mix for a few here and wondered if anyone else has some they want to share.

Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post this

I dont know what you mean by more popular. You will need some aluminum brightner for the rails and I used a chemical from a local supplier 99% of the time. I also used delco's V505 one time and it is great. It does come as powder and I hate mixing it so I stuck with the local liquid.

Are you talking ratios or the actual formulas?

The formulas are a guarded secret. If everybody had them they wouldn't need to sell them and they couldn't claim theirs was better than the next companies'.
They can be had for a price though.

Found this on Google for powder truck wash soap. Havent tried it because I dont know where to get this stuff yet.

Metso pentabead 20 20%

Sodium Carbonate 30%

STPP 35%

Sodium Alkylarly Sulfonate 15%

Yes, I do...thanks for asking...:D

I see this thread gong no where and its very understandable. I was out of line fr asking if anyone had the formulas that others sell products under. I apologize if this thread has disturbed any vendors that support our industry in any way.

That goes for you Russ, Paul, Bob, Tracy, and others I have forgotten to mention.

Ah, I was just being a wise guy...but I just figured up my costs for raw materials in the minimum purchaseable quantities for making Panel Bright. Before you can make the first drum, you'll spend around $3,900.00.

I already have the mix for Panel Bright, I just wondered if thee were others out there that are worthwhile in fleet washing that are a little easier and cheaper to make in smaller quanities
