Chemical Hose for Roof Cleaning

We recommend Kuri Tec hose with either brass or poly fittings. The crimped brass fittings and brass collars are nice because they do not cut your hands and the poly lasts forever!!! Nick uses the poly and accordingly has not had any problems.

You can have your hose made to custom lengths.

Air hose can be custom made for those of you with air diaphragm rigs.

The Kuri Tec is available in 3/8" to 1" ID.

The most popular id's are 1/2" and 5/8" and about 200' in length.

When you say poly fittings, do you mean the hose barbs or garden hose type fittings?

Larry, be careful when driving in that grass, it looks like it is either very soft or might be like the swamp and you might just get stuck, hurry and get out so you don't have to call someone to pull you out, hurry! :nanner:oke::dance:

Great question, Chris! I am referring to the barbed by mpt poly fittings. You have to use hose clamps with them, though. Do you prefer to use them?

This hose has a working pressure of 300 to 200 psi for id's ranging from 1/2" to 5/8" at 70 deg F. It is the Kuriyama's Kuri Tec K1154 or K1156 series hose.

Economical, lightweight and flexible
UV and weather resistant
"A" chemical rating for SH or sodium hypochlorite

I switched to brass on the hose because I had one nylon and one poly that they both broke and I got some love all over me when doing a roof.

Brass is not the best thing but quick fix and will last a while.

I think the ones on the front are 12in and the Chem Reel on the back is 18in.

Great hose. I use the 600 psi, though. 60 cent a foot is worth it tome to have the higher rating.

Yeah...I am working on offering that same hose with Stainless Steel crimped ends for a bit less than the 60 cents a foot price. You will also be able to get it in custom lengths. It is the same hose but a better grade for less money. Anyone interested? Lori
