Pressure Washer,Trailer,business,must see
Vehicle Description

Up for bid:

65 horsepower, 18GPM(2 pumps@9GPM) 3,000 PSI Pressure Washer on 12' trailer

Please see pics below!

It is powered by a Re-built Wisconsin air cooled gas motor with less than 100 hours on it. This motor produces 65hp and runs 2 General pumps. The pump models are General Pump 2031 B. These are six plunger pumps. The motor runs@2200-2300 Rpm full speed, will run both pumps with 8hp to spare. It takes approximately 56hp to run the pumps. What this means is power to spare and a much longer lasting motor. Motor is air cooled, will run all day and all night at any temperature without problem. I bought 2 air cleaners for the motor that are used for motorcycles. Only one has been used, also included in the cleaning kit for these re-usable filters. Pumps are operated by belt and have the proper pullies to put the pumps at the right speeds. There are up to 4 belts to run pumps for reliability. Motor burns about 2.5 GPH of fuel about the same as any other horsepower motor out there, but puts out more power in the process. Motor starts within 10 seconds and runs like a champ. Both pumps rebuilt and run without any problems. Both are the same model, one older than the other, but identical otherwise. Both are rated at 3,000 PSI and 9 GPM. Most machines you will see run at around 5.0-5.5GPM. There is no substitute for flow! I have a home unit that runs 4 gallons a minute and there is no comparison. These pumps put out a wall of water! It makes your work go so much faster. Ask anyone, they will say the same thing! On this trailer there is a 325 gallon water tank. All plumbed, ready to go. There is a float valve in the tank, but it doesn't work right. Will try to fix, no guarantee. Once you start working, you won't need it. Run 1 or both pumps at the same time. Can be plumbed to run 4 guns at once, although I would just run 1 gun per pump. There is one feed hose and reel with about 75' of good quality hose on it. There is a 100# propane tank for the burner(takes $50 to fill@2.00/gallon). The burner itsself is a Millivolt powered unit, which means all you do is light the pilot and away you go. No generator to hassle with. There is no fan on the burner, but even so, after the 250' of high pressure hose, water is still at 160-200F. I have been unable to find the right fan yet, but if you can find one, it will take the temperature up another 20-30 degrees. Burner will run all night on a tank of propane. High pressure hose reel also mounted on trailer. Both reels are on passenger side of trailer. There was a float tank on the front of trailer, nicely made out of aluminum, but I took it off, never used it. It too will go with the trailer. There is also one more feed-hose reel. Not mounted, but included. Also included is a homebuilt surface cleaner, approximately 28" cleaning width. This thing works great for flat surfaces. To buy one of these separately, they are about $1,000. This is a 3 spray bar unit with swivel caster in front and inflatable tires in the back. Nicely fitted hand grips. Trailer is a 2 axle, 12' model. It is silver in color, in relatively good shape, and a 2001 model with little mileage. Has a Fulton type hitch, like a Bulldog style, but much better and easier to operate. Safety chains, 7 pin RV connection, and breakaway wire and battery box. Front axle of trailer has brakes which work nicely(brake controller needed!). Tire tread is good, wheels are white and in good shape. Trailer needs nothing to work tonight! Also included are several other items. I have a selection of plain tips, 2 wands/guns, 1 dump gun(takes all the pressure off the unloaders), and one(non working, but rebuildable) high-flow Zero Degree rotating nozzle(these new are $150+, will try and find rebuild kit). There is a selection of chemicals included that will be on the trailer. I will include a 5 gallon pail of aluminum brightener, 100# of powdered soap(use for concrete), and 5 gallons of degreaser that has a great lemon smell to it. That alone is $200 of chemicals that will last a long time. Also have 2 face shields, one raincoat, 2 acid fume respirators, and 2 chemical proof aprons. There are other things included as well, I have a fireplug adapter to hook to fire hydrant then to regular garden hose, 30mm socket for pump maintenance, and some other stuff. You can run out and work the minute you pick this unit up. Both propane and gas tank(13 gallons) will be full.

I will also give you the names of several websites to purchase product from. These are results of many nights of research and will provide the lowest prices and best items you can find. For instance, replacement pumps, one company that I thought was the cheapest was $1,100 per pump, this company I found is $900, with 10% off if you buy 2. These sites will have the best prices for extension wands, rotating tips that will handle the flow, chemicals, etc. No, this is not Delco's site. Will also give you a site to get the coolest plastic business cards. I have flyers made up with pictures and a cover letter. This file will also be included in Publisher format. The pics have my truck in them, but once you get pics, will modify and re-send to you. Also included will be an adjustable height 2" trailer hitch, locking pin and key. Easily pulled with 1/2 ton truck, I use a 94 GMC to pull it, and it has no problem at all. Also, I have a very large white toolbox(for fullsize truck, crossbed) available as well, I was going to mount this on some steel going above the water tank. I can make this happen for $150 parts and labor. Toolbox has some rust, will spray paint it for you. This will hold everything you could need, it's longer than a standard toolbox. Toolbox will be included. The second pump needs plumbing to run gun, and there is no hose or reel attached for it now. There is about 250' of high pressure hose on other reel, can be be split and still workable. There is about $100 in parts needed. If you would like, I can get parts and plumb before pickup.

Reason for selling: My wife runs another business as well, plus I have one other business, and just no time together. I clean the insides of car washes, parking lots, and shopping centers. I usually charge about $60-70 an hour. On some jobs where I did quotes by square footage, it was about $100-110 an hour(waterparks, really big jobs). Most of the work is done at night, except hotels which are day jobs. Machine will run 24-7 provided it's got gas and propane! Just change the oil every 50 hours and you're rockin'. If you run a 2 man crew, you can do 8 car washes a night at $100 each. This will net you out $500 or more a night(after insurance and other expenses). Spend $100-200 for your helper and fuel. I can put you in touch with an insurance agent for liability insurance. This was a pain to find, no one would approve me. I finally found one company that insured me for about $2500 for the year(30% down). May also see if insurance is transferable. If so, down has been paid, and there is 6-7 months(I think) of payments to go for the year). It sounds expensive, but, it's only $200 a month, that's 1/2 of one good night's profit. I will also include either a set of magnetic signs or ready-to-put-on lettering with your business name and phone number in vinyl lettering. No fancy logos/fades. To have this done would cost you about $300. Can apply if we schedule properly.

The motor to replace is about $4500, burner is about $4,000, check Landa.com and their 10gpm burner is $4,300, pumps are $900(from my source, $1,100 anywhere else) each, plumbing, tank, trailer, gas tank, propane tank, guns, etc. This unit would be $15,000 to replace. This machine has less junk and maintenance than any other machine out there. There is only one burner, so if running 2 guys, one on each pump, one will be hot, one cold.

Please email me at GGrays1999@AOL.com if you have any questions. All questions should be asked BEFORE bidding and not after.

Terms of auction: You bid, you buy. How much simpler can it be? Your bid is a binding contract, if you bid and don't buy, Ebay will be contacted, and you will be punished accordingly. Machine will be exactly as described, possibly more, but definately nothing less. nothing less. My feedback is perfect and will remain so. There is no warranty expressed or implied of any kind.

Payment: Expected within 10 days of close of auction. Paypal, C2it, bidpay, cash, check(held 10 days) or certified funds are expected. I have pink slip in hand for trailer, no liens of any kind. Transfer will be immediate.

machine

Very cool machine, am going with something similar in the near future but it will be a diesel fired . 3 years ago i almost bought 2 preassure washers ready to go that where propane. good thing i didnt. The propane bill would have been through the roof. not to knock down the your machine, but propane is a real turn off.

I have a Landa and a Hydrotek Hot water Powerwashers that work great and both are gas/diesel ran.

I can only imagine how fast one could clean with the above set-up from ebay.

I wonder what type of Powerwashing hoses are used on a machine like this and how heavy are they. Do you think they would be the same size hose that a typical 3000 psi powerwasher uses??

We currently pay only $1.20 per gallon for Lp. Why is propane a turn off for you? We've been using it for 20 years!

LP

Because for every gallon of diesel that I use you will use 5, Do the math and you will see why is a big turn off for me. I will use 11 gallons cleaning for 9 to 10 hours. or 16.00 dollars of diesel, now if i where using propane it would cost me just for the burner to run 60.00 dollars if I pay 1.20 a gallon.

Good Morning Guys,

I just pulled a P & L from my accounting software. My % of revenue for Lp is 1.8% for the past 8-1/2 years. We also use Lp to heat the back of our trucks during the winter months (this expense is included in this number).

How does this percent of revenue compare to you guys costs for fuel? My primary power source is also using Lp fuel not gasoline (this cost is also included in the 1.8% expense number).

Hey Dave,
Can you post a picture of what you use to heat the back of your trucks in the winter. I need to do something for my truck this winter.
Thanks.

Here you are Mike,

Frist picture shows a side view. We made the mounting so we can rotate the position (direction) of the heat.

Dave, How does that operate...........do you have to fire it up similar to a gas grill, with a pilot, etc?

And, did you mount it on the lower side or towards the ceiling? I imagine you need to keep it away from you're equipment......

Hello Mike,

I will post some pictures to show how we have the set up. This first picture is a Lp heater with a standing pilot and thermostat.

Neve have liked this set-up. Smelled bad when just the pilot was burning!

I use this little electric in the storeroom instead of the Lp. Also use one in the back of my White truck when it is in the shop.

Here is a picture of the heater that I posted last night but a wider angle.

We never haul combustables close to these heaters. We leave the rear doors open a little when the truck is in the shop and of course close our roof hatches side and rear doors when we are outside and traveling.

I more and I will give it a rest!:)

This is how we mounted the heater in the back of our White truck. By the way the heaters that we use in the back of our trucks do not have a standing pilot. They have a thermocouple and we light the front rather than a pilot. If the flame goes out the coupler will turn off the fuel.
