just a poll on who your current cellular provider is. Also, if you would be interested in a group discount, if I could work it out with a major national provider, or two. Answer the poll, and if I get enough replies, I will see what I can work out.
If I do this, big if, it will probably include a discount for employee paid phones, as well.

Btw, I have a bias for good cell service...so I am with verizon.

6 here and you can talk to the people and tell them you are a good customer and loyal, and they sometimes give discounts

I am wondering how many contractors it will take to get a substantial discount. I will need to check to even see if it is worth the effort, I can't imagine it would not be.

7 Window basesd PDA phones & 5 pc cards All ATT&T, only company that has coverage on fringe areas, most cities around here are great , but get out in the eveglades and get a little "iffy"

Would love to hear if anybody has the Sprint high speed system that can become a wifi hotspot, this intrests me alot.

Also have some boost mobiles that we use on jobs where the GC requires beep beep use.

5 Verisons here, looking at doubling that in the next 60.

1 man Band 5 verizions and 2 broard band wireless always about 450-500 a months .

I've had cell service since 1984 here in dallas. for years my one phone cost 1200-1600 dollars a month (about 2500 dollars in todays money) I get these big packets every month (my phone bill ) postage was about 1.50-2.00..

their was'nt free nights and weekends the charge for everything.

with all the yellow pages 1500 a month and phone bill average 1500 a month.

I average 8000 minutes a months (thats a lot) but keep in mind If I called a number busy or no answer wap 25cents

1986 - San Francisco - Big Block phones that were permanently mounted in the vehicles. 80 cents per minute PER vehicle + $250.00 per month per phone service charges! We were doing workers comp investigations and needed them in all the vehicles for communication when doing tandem tails.

Common bills were like yours David, about $1500.00 per month!

2 on sprint, And 2 on T-mobile

AT&T 2 "regular" phones, 2 iPhones and a Netbook with aircard. Paying about $350/mo. I just found out that AT&T offers discounts for some (large) local businesses. My wife is an RN at our community hospital which is technically part of the city gov't. Gotta ask - any discount would be nice.
