Cedar Siding

My buddy's house has cedar lap board siding that is horrible in appearance. I have not done any cedar sided homes yet.

My question is, Do I strip in the same manner as I do for my decks and fences or is there a another procedure here? I plan on using the HD-80 to get the crap off, and will neurtilize afterwards. Would appreciate "ANY" input here. It's a small job, just the front of the house.

The main thing to keep in mind (as with decks) start with the lowest pressure possible. Try to let the cleaner/stripper do most of the work for you.

Apply chems from bottom to top. Wash from bottom to top. Rinse from top to bottom.

I think cedar siding is MUCH easier to clean than decks. The profit margin can also be much higher (when you are not working for a buddy).

If you have any other questions, feel free to give me a call.

Best of Luck
