Bypass to float tank?

Hi everyone, I am would like to set my pw up so that it will cycle water back to a float tank, but im not shure how to do it. I have been told that i could disconect the clear braided hose on the pump and route it to the tank without having to buy any additional parts, is that true?
The pump is a 4gpm annovi reverberi mounted to a 13hp honda engine. Thanks for any help you have to offer.
 
good question, although i have no answer for you other than change your unloader and you will not have to fool with the braided hose but that will cost $$

Thanks guy's, i am still trying to figure out how to resize my pictures. The hose i'm talking about runs from the top of the head to the water inlet on the bottom of the pump.

Try using a picture host site. I use photobucket and it works great.

That sounds like your easy start valve. If you've got a direct drive AR, chances are likely that the unloader is an internal bypass type, and, as such, cannot be routed to the tank. If this is the case, you'll have to change unloaders if you want a tank bypass.
 
Do a search here for picture resizing, I am sure that someone posted a program that is free that you can download and install on your computer to make the pictures smaller so you can post them here.

When you do that, post pictures of the unloader up close and then anyone can help you out, there are many kinds of unloaders so without a picture, it is kind of hard to help you.
