As for insurance, they just would not add pressure washing, they would not touch it, to much liability I guess.

You should shop around. My company added it to our window cleaning policy with no change in price at all.

Chris, waaay off topic, but we were just offered a free trip to Maui for 7 days by my sister in law! Its too bad we have to turn it down because im over seas....

Back on Topic, Nigel, have you only gone through your agent or have you shopped different agents and companies? Have you calls Joe walters? They set us up in a couple of minutes...

Thanks guys, I have state farm for a heap of other insurance, I was surprised too when my agent said they would not insure me specifically because of "pressure washing services".

I did give Joe Walters a call, and my quote was misplaced but finally got it today. I am currently insured with Ohio Casualty, but I taught I would bundle it all with State Farm, come to find out I am to risky if I "pressure wash".

Does anyone have an Inland Marine rider on their policy to cover their equipment?
This is a factor in making my decision also, to switch or not. The rate I was quoted was $0.60 for every dollar of equipment insured (Ohio, annually).

Just wanted to know what others are being charged.

So, that would be a little more than 1/2 of the value to pay into the policy for a year coverage? Is that really $0.60 of every dollar of value? That does not sound right to me at all.

That should be more like $0.06 out of every dollar more or less but closer to around 5 cents on the dollar to cover your equipment.

State farm wont do pressure washing around here either so I'm sure it's nationwide. They are too expensive anyway Look for an american family local to you... they have much better rates and will cover what you need.
