So my goal was $1,000,000 in 2012 and we came close but no cigar! $900K which I am okay with because we beat last years numbers. But really thought we could do 1mill so in 2013 we are DEF passing our goal!

Anyway, going through my months I noticed June and July are by far the best months I had in 2012. And I thought that was kind of strange since those are the hottest months in Phoenix. But then again, it makes sense since no one wants to go outside to do anything, so they hire companies to do the work.

Curious around the nation what months are the best for you guys?

Dec & Jan by Far , Always have been always will be

I think october, january, march are usually my best months.

Curious Scott as to Why, I think you know my reason.

Execute all new agreement in Jan, Dec is mostly retail customers over doing cleaning because of busy shopping.

gotta keep the city pretty for tourist season.

may-june was our busiest time, and mid september through the end of october is extremely busy for roof cleaning (we do a lot of advertising during that time).

mid august-september is a little slower, mostly because I'm kinda burned out around then. this season i'm planning to schedule as much commercial work as possible in august, and hopefully take a vacation. it will give me something to look forward to and recharge the battery for my fall push.

This year, surprisingly, December was the only slow month we had. I was actually able to take all last week off but did have to go to do one job on Friday. I missed a little time in December due to a small health issue but all the customers booked then waited a week till I was back.

Today the phone has already started ringing and booked two roof cleaning jobs, one gutter cleaning, a duct cleaning and a dryer vent cleaning.

In years past we were always slow Thanksgiving to Mid Feb. But the last two years that has not been the case.

Dude that is ROCKIN!!! WTG - No doubt you will blow that goal out of the water this year! Keep up the good work!

We hit and exceeded our monetary goals this year. Never thought we would gross over that big one! The first mil is the toughest!

Congrats, you guys. It's inspiring to see so many guys making millions doing what I'm doing. My goal for 2013 is to make $100,000. That seems crazy to me, but I think It's doable.

How many years in business?

How many years in business?

This will be my 6th year in business, but I spent the majority of the first 5 not really knowing what I was doing, and trying to compete with lowballers prices. I did my best to try to learn, but I did not know there were places like this I could come to. Tried to talk to the local distributor, and other local contractors, but no one would really help. I have learned so much since discovering PWI, and I am pretty much starting over from scratch.

Josh,Upselling is key. We compete with companies diong house washes for $250 and out sell them by offering cleaning concrete walkway, hand scrubbing windows, gutters and doors as our package for $485. Its a detailed wash.

Just out of curiosity, how many of those are you able to do in an hour? I know you have a shortened season, so you probably need to be able to have enough crews to average about 17 a day or 85 a week, if you are working 6 months a year.
