Burner blower blowing fuse

This one is killing me, have a 12 volt system with 100 hours on her, the fuse that comes off the battery blows in 5 seconds. This machine is wired to have blower spinning when thermo is on and master heat switch is on, but of course the fuel solenoid is only triggered with the flow switch. But like I said the fuse is blowing in 5 seconds. This machine has the 80 amp constant duty solenoid, I have run this model machine for years with never anything close to this proplem. This machine ran all day no problems, then, no heat, looked around and found fuse blown, replaced it and blew, and so on and so forth. Looked for bad grounds, no shorts, I am stumped big time.? Blower motor will turn for that 5 secs. Bad fuel pump? Bad solenoid? Bad blower motor? Gremlins?

Thanks,
Joe

I want to lean about burners too, I will take a stab, not my cup of tea.

Correct size fuses
Check all system Ground wires
Check for Cracked ceramics.
See if wheel is centered and spins freely, check axial movement
Inspect Coupling
Bad capacitor
Igniter does not cut off after flame detected (or weak)
Check Flow switch signal
Test thermostat signal
Test/Change Fuel solenoid
Test/Change Fuel Pump
Motor

I would call Russ J. at Southside or Rex at Pressure Washer Products, both of them really know what they are doing and are great people!

You need to rig up an ampmeter in the hot line and disconnect all but one component of the burner and test it. Then hook up another component and test until you find the culprit.
