Just wonder if you guys have a feel for the business, what Im finding out is my avg job time 4-6 hrs and 58-64 dollars per hour
expences total around 15%. what do you think. Mikey

It will go dwoown

Well I have been doing this for just a bit over a year now. When I first started it did take about 4-6 hours for one system. Now if its one we clean all the time it can take a bit under two hours. We can crusie on most of them. But still run it to a few that can take that long , but those are usally very dirty and need scrapping. Your expence cost is about right. Can bring it down more if you buy in bulk more maybe.:)

That is a hard question with limited information. The rule of thumb, $20 per foot and $65 per fan and more for 2 levels. We try to get $80-90 per hr for a two man crew. Everything is higher in California-example the comp. rate is $15 per $100. So to get average rate is very had if not impossible.

Thanks, Thats about what I have been charging $20 per hood foot and about $75 per fan and also pad it a bit $5 per foot on the duct, N/C on the filters. pretty low overhead I mostly do all my jobs alone. but they get a (spiff) free SS polish inside and out :) really sets the tone. Mikey

Mikey,
we charge a min of $225 and our price per linear foot is a bit less, multi story is more, fans depending on the size between $50 and $75 and filters $3 to $5 a pop and polishing everything you can see is standard. We avg. between $90 to $125 an hr. take tonight I had all my guys scheduled for 1 job per crew ( let get home early fer the 4th) each job was fer no less than 275 and they all got done within 2 - 2 1/2 hrs give or take a few min. so thats between $137.50 and $110.00 per hr
