BNI

Does any one belong to BNI or another networking groups. I was asked to come out to one of there meetings.
Question I have is do you have to find leads for other members of the group are they having to find leads for me.
Other question is do pay for you to go to the meeting every week.

If time allows, go to the meeting as a guest. Pass out your biz cards and talk about your business. There is membership fee. First year is around $500.00.

I am not a member BNI because their attendence policy is pretty strict and I can not meet that requirment. I know it works for some people and not so much for others. Like anything else it's what you put into it.
The whole premise of it is to help each other grow their business.

You can go twice as a guest. I would at least do that. If there are more than one chapter, visit those also.
Check out your chamber of commerce also. They have business after hours and other functions to promote your business. Networking is a great thing.

I belong to a networking group and it has worked well for me. Been a member for nearly four years. You have to show up, work the group and get referrals for others too.
