Black runoff

Can I use F13 to remove the black runoff streaks down a white brick wall coming from the edges of the windows or is there something better? I think it's from the aluminum trim around the windows. I can't find a picture of what I'm talking about though. Is it the same stuff that you see on a camper or mobile home? Here is a picture.

Every window around the building is like this.

Thanks

Nice, congrats Jim. When you're finished if you don't mind, share what you think the black was, and what chem worked the best for ya.

Yes,..that is what makes the forum valuable,..everyone's,..good and/or bad experiences.
Sometimes the black as described here is from the silicone caulking around a window or door,..and can be tough,...your preferred gutter cleaner and warm temperatures is usually a good start,..on a porous surface it can be tough,..but being painted may make it a bit more easy. Have seen it more times than I care to remember.

Still not sure what it was, only thing I could figure was some type of oxidation from the old windows that used to be there. I tried several different mixes and the only thing that cut it was F9. It didn't go away completely but it made it much less noticeable on the white brick. There was some quite extensive rust on the back wall due to some old steel ladders going to the 2nd story, F9 did away with that completely but I had to use it straight for both things.

I think I know the source of your black streaks. I wasn't sure until I clicked on the photo.I ran into this same problem on a fire house and I didn't figure it out till the very end. At which point I was so darn tired of scrubbing and trying different products (scrubbing from the top down over the side) that I can not say for sure which chemical really worked but F-13 would be what I would start with first the next time.Do you want to know what the source is ..I believe? Wait for it........ flat rubberized roof. Yep

Interesting, the flat roof never crossed my mind. Now that I think about it all the gutter tie in s to the drains were covered in black my likely from splashing.
