Bigger than Facilitec

I contacted HOODZ as soon as I seen this post a few weeks ago and it cost $54,000.00 to buy a franchise. I am not sure it would be worth it I may be wrong but that seems like a whole lot of money for what they are offering.

54K and do they gaurantee exclusive clients? and for how long?
They are working on some nationwide accounts like Chick-Fil-A, and Applebees no guarntees that I know of as of know.

They are a division of Belfor International big $$ backing them. Some of the people running the franchise and branding end of the company helped in developed the Domino's franchise as well as some others. They are a very professional and organized corporate structured company.

I don't know if Hoodz will be successful as a nationwide company or not,but seeing their
ads over the past year on craigslist looking for crew leaders with A long list of
qualifications for around $11.00 an hour tends to think they are setting an unrealistic labor cost for Franchisee's. At that rate of pay it is hard to find someone qualified to do this type of work. I think glamourizing KEC as this untapped ,mandatory service, that is easy to find employees at that rate will lead franchisee's to have a rosier impression of what they are really go to experience in this labor intensive, high liability, grimey, greasey business will lead to a high attrition rate of franchisee's not familiar with the KEC industry before taking the plunge.I think they will be getting a cold hard case of real world reality when an $11 an hour guy does not show up,quits,or sets off a fire suppression system at 2am and that $300 job costs them $2000 .Branding something is great ,but anyone knows a company is only as good as it's worst tech.I am sure some Franchisee's will be successful like anything else, but I think many more will be disillusioned and try to sell or close up and move on to another businesss opportunity.

Interesting

I'm considering getting in on the franchise action. With so many outsiders coming in to suck our industry dry, why not tryh it from the inside out? GreesProz coming soon to a city near you!

Hoodz in Columbia SC is selling their hot water unit on Clist because they have switched to an electric unit hat runs off the retsuarants hot water and don't need it anymore. I wonder if this is part of the franchise model.
