Bid on the two brand new COSTCO's

I got a call this week about 2 stores that needed just the entrance. I measured 4500sqft per store he said that they want it done quarterly. There is no GUM and really clean, anyway I don't get to bid on a lot of flatwork so i bid it at $630.00 90day service and he told me he had 3 other contractors coming to give estimates so idk if i was way to high or what.

4500 square feet? Well you can do that with one man in around 2 hours start to finish, thats 315 bucks an hour by your estimate. I would not hold my breath on getting those.

We would (just guessing) bid that at no more than 250 to 275 for a quaterly depending on the job could be even less than that.

are you saying you bid that for both stores as a combined price? or is that a per store price?

We were high on our bid too. Ours included 300 carts each time though. 15 day service.

I'm with Russ I would charge about .07 cents that would be $315. I always go by weeks not days because you can cheat yourself out of a check. :nono:

VERY GOOD POINT!!!!! try to alway go by weeks not days...weeks will sometimes get you an extra cleaning in per yr.

Must be nice in other parts of the country. We get about 3 cents wholesale, more on smaller footage - you find every way to be fast to get your hourly.
