everything. I was out the other night and ran into my largest competitor -in regards to a particular company I am direct marketing-. We talked for 45 minutes. The pw community really is a good community to be involved in. He told me about www.watercannon.com and I checked them out. Great prices!!!

They do have some good prices, watch out for the shipping, it can bit you, I have been bit a few times.

I ordered a pump base and I paid the shipping but there was an extra $38.00 for "special packing" where they duct taped 2 boxes together because there was not a box long or big enough for the length of the aluminum pump base to fit.

I thought that was way too much money but O Well. You learn.

They may have great prices, very rude people on the phone. I tried calling them this morning.

I can't stand rude people not matter how low the prices, its telling you that if they are rude when ordering what do you think will happen when you have trouble?

Good luck, I will not be ordering at this time.

I called them this morning too. I got the same impression, like I was wasting his time!! :mad:

Charlie called and apologized, I would give them another chance.

I would call Charlie Direct at the number above and not the other number.

what about handling fees?

i had purchased from you in the past because you sell quality products and your prices were indeed lower than most. in my situation the money i was saving was then charged to me in the form of "handling fees". on my last order placed with envirospec my handling fees were 18% of the purchased products plus shipping costs and this was only a 2 lb package. i have not purchased from envirospec in a couple of years but is this still your company's policy? if so i do respect that but i feel you should advertise that up front. i am not bashing you or your company as i have the most respect for you and paul. if there is a standard handling fee for the products you sell can you tell us up front what to expect so we may know if we are actually saving money? these times are tight on all of us.

Rando, I think that John and Paul have resolved thaose problems over the last year, I will let them speak for themselves but I am sure that will not be an issue in the future
 
envirospec rocks!

i love the catalogs and i would like to try the super sucker. envirospec and i got off on the wrong foot because of that issue and i remember alot of other members of another forum also voiced their opinion. this is a quality vendor that our industry needs so i hope the situation has been resolved. i can attest that the cleaning chemicals that i have purchased from them are top shelf. the plexmaster has been the best sealant/wax that i have ever used.

on another note, i understand that steve rowlett is cranking up again. it will be interesting to see what he has to offer to us.

You are right!

Shipping and handling was a problem in the past. I am sure you will see a huge difference now.
