It's a little unsettling living near the sniper. Things have ot been the same in a while. High school football games have not been happening for the most part, and after school activities have been cancelled.

The sniper seems to be expanding his area. The last hit was almost in Richmond Va.

Please, be careful out there. Don't stand still, keep moving when you are out of your vehicle. Park close to entrances when you can. One stop shop when possible. I know there are alot of folks in DC Md and VA who read these boards. This guy could head north, east, or west too. Keep on your toes if you are anywhere near a major highway.

Keep the kids in this Halloween.

While you should use your head, lets not all lock ourselves up indoors in fear! I dont think this guy needs you to be standing still to get a good shot off.........could happen anywhere, anytime...........

Its best not to worry about it.
 
Just be careful. I'm not saying lock yourself up in fear, just keep a watchful eye when you are out.

I can understand your concern. I remember back in 77 when the Son Of Sam (Sam Berkowitz) was terrorizing New Yorkers. Unless someone lives near a nut job like this they really can't relate to the fear that you feel even though they may have the same concerns.

Supposedly the Son of Sam was heading out to the Hamptons when he finally got picked up for of all things a Parking Violation. I happened to meet the Police officer Years ago who wrote that Ticket which eventually Brought that nut job down.

Needless to say my family and myself were vacationing out at the Hamptons when he got nailed. I was only around 16 at the time and I still remember the feeling of relief that my parents and cousins had.

Hopefully this Sniper gets nailed soon and don't be surprised that it was something small that eventually brings this person to Justice. I'm just hoping that it is not a terrorist that is doing this because if it is then as bad as this is will really be even worse.

Already here in Long Island we have someone shooting at cars from the woods and thankfully nobody has been injured. Like I said I hope its not a terrorist act because if it is then we are facing a whole no Ballgame.
 
11 people dead, I certainly can see Beth’s fear. I’m sure if it hit home we would be gassing the car for the wife and the kids. I certainly would not be afraid to say I would be over protective.

I hope they catch this guy or people doing this cowardly act of deviations on innocent people. The question is what should they do when they catch them? Should we punish them like they have punished those loved ones left behind? This type of crime should be different. I love the constitution and certainly don’t want to change or amend it. This type of crime needs some higher and quicker results.

I certainty love my country but we need some swifter justice.

Back in the Wild West days we had a lynch mob, maybe the 100, 0000 reward is not enough and should read dead or alive. ( I guess we would need to have and identity first)


I just hope that this guy doesn’t get away with this; I hope they catch him today.

The weekend guy was not a copy cat. It's been linked. He hit again this morning at 5:56 over by Leisure World (my mom lives there). Shot a bus driver. Roads are closed. Traffic is at a stand still. Helicopters are patroling.

I hope they catch him today.

p.s. I don't care what they do to him, so long as they get him, but slow and painful is fine with me!

that he ends up in the sight's of one of the police sniper's sight's and that the police sniper play's judge and jury.
I just cant stand when they spend millions and millions of $$$$ to study people that are nut's.
Vengence is mine say'ith the lord, well let's set that meeting up ASAP.
Random pointless killing, it's time we had a public televised hanging.
Everything this wacko has put the family's threw and in the end he get's the last word and a little pinch in the arm, then drift's off to sleep. SCREW THAT.

One of the decks Rod and I sealed today was in the neighborhood of this mornings shooting. There were still road blocks and news crews, and there was a heavily wooded area right off the deck. Creepy. I was glad when we were done. There were about 3 helicopters and one airplane overhead at one point and one copter hovered over where we were for a while...

I was in Ashland, Va (Sat,) at a Bluegrasss Concert....... stopped around 6:00pm less than a mile from where shooting took place to fill up with gas..it did'nt even cross my mind about him.....when I got home later that night turned on the TV ,well, you can bet it became reality then....hope they wrap this up soon,for everyones sake.
 
Remember week or so back when the guy was killed in Manassas Va. I was working at the Shoney's restaurant across the street from that gas station the night before.
You may have even seen the Shoney's in the news footage.
When he killed the lady at the Home Depot, the subsequent roadblocks prevented any of my crews from getting to there jobs that night, not that that mattered at the time.
