BBB Under Fire

Paying for a membership will raise you nearly a whole letter grade. I had a serious issue with this too as we have a competitor that has about 15 complaints on them and maintains an A+. The BBB is a for profit business and IMO it shouldn't be.

Reason why I don't do business with the BBB. I think my company does great work and we follow up with anyone that is unhappy like where going to do this Monday about a minor issue but you get some hard on that just wants to slam your business what better place for him to do it then ruining your rep on the BBB.

Just not worth it.

Save your money.

We are a member of the BBB and had a customer complain to get out of paying a bill and like John said got a hard on to try and wreck our perfect record. The BBB reversed the complaint and said they take matters like this serouse. I probably couldn't have got the complaint reversed if I wasn't paying them for my membership. Food for thought I guess.

I'm a member as well..... just not crazy about their pay to play tactics. A business provided a "public service" IMO (which is the way they portrey themselves) should have measures in place to "buy up" your grade. That's just rediculous.

HAHAHAHA I did too! Serves them right. Did you see the salaries these people make????? $300K+ a year for the guy they interviewed and $400K+ for another. I'll bet ya lunch we see a class action lawsuit pop up in the coming months :)
