Isn't it funny how our founding fathers did not care for the power of office. Nowadays all our politicians strive for the highest political power they can achieve. It would be nice if they were satisfied with just a little bacon instead.

Have no illusions that while our founding fathers, from our ninth president George Washington to Jefferson, were great men, they were power hungry as well. I like bacon also.
