I thought you guys might find this interesting. http://www.weather.com/maps/activity/garden/usnationalnormalfirstfreeze_large.html

e had a low of 33 one night last week and I was thinking to myself I can't believe I already got to be thinking about winterizing overnight. However, it looks the that was flirting with about 30 days before our usual first freeze. And now there are lows in the 40s in the forecast.

How do you northerners bid maintenance cleanings? Like for monthly or quarterly, when there is going to be 2-3 months where there is little chance for decent weather, and no chance of above freezing overnight.

thanks,
john

They usually stop around Nov 1 and resume sometime in Feb/March when the weather warms up. We charge a cleanup charge when we start again. If you play your cards right you can be busy all winter doing other type of work with your equipment that weather doesn't really effect so much.
