ATL folks

I would guess that Lake Lanier will be okay after today. They just had news footage of water up to the bottom of gutters on homes in Cobb COunty.

Jeff, you okay man, Gwinnett got hit pretty hard too.

Fine here, just a little wetness in the basement. They closed Gwinnett County schools for Monday and Tuesday. A little crazy but I have been fortunate so far. Getting calls for exterior flood clean up. Tennis courts and other areas are covered with mud. Hopefully make some $$ out of it?

Was that part of the storm that stretched over to Oklahoma and Texas?

Our plane was stuck in Oklahoma City, Ok because of very bad storms along with Dallas, they would not let anything leave there and flights to Dallas from anywhere here were cancelled until tomorrow. The plane I was waiting on had to go to Dallas from Oklahoma city and then to Houston before I could get to my town. It was a 5 hour delay but I got home ok.

Hope all you guys out there are ok and dry.

IT WAS FLOODING!! I have pics but I left the camera at home. The building across from us got a foot of water and 3 inches of mud in the building. For those who have been to our shop...that little creek next to where Roger G did the grafitti demo at our roundtable...it was cresting the blocks. That is what flooded the other building. I will be posting the pics!!!

Ron and Tony were heading toward Sunbrite last night Nichole.I tried to tell them ATL was flooding.
Hope things don't get wet at the shop we will be throwing up some serious prayers for all of you up there. We wentthrough the floodong thing down here earlier this year.
they are hard headed, I told them too but they pressed on, I talked to Ron about 3am and they were just getting to Gwinnett Co.

I am looking for them around lunch here in Bama, "Its all about the food" I am sure Ron and Tony will be somewhere else by dinner.

Some pics I have from my phone

This is the little creek that runs by our shop

That is insane. I hated the scream machine before, now, I think it is safe to say that I will never again get on that.

My brother lives in powder springs. They had leakage in their basement, but one mile down the road, homes were under water.

I always enjoyed riding it when they ran it in reverse.

Depending on how long the water sits around it may determine if the have to tear it down or do extensive repairs. It would be a shame for it to be demolished wooden roller coasters are hard to find this day and time.
