Well I was waiting for it to take off but it didn't. This post sat dead for 3 hours today!!!!

Remember that some days people are busy working so the site might not get that much traffic and some parts of the country do not have the Artillery Fungus, I have seen it here only on a 1/2 dozen houses thank goodness.

Not sure of what you are asking or saying.

I am on the Gulf of Mexico, South West of Houston about 2 hours north of the Mexico border.

We have the high heat, hight humidity but higher winds than what you have there in Florida. Maybe that answers?

The artillery fungus is coming from the mulch (tree bark) that people buy and use for landscaping in their yards.

I was trying to ask if you have weather like us sound like you do we have heavy humidity and high temps also. I read that funus comes from cheap mulch that is made from pine bark that comes from wood mills has the color tint to it.

You are right, it comes from the mulch (tree bark).
