This is my newest roof cleaning chemical creation called "Apple Goo". I just made it today, and we will be field testing it on 2 big Tile Roofs we are cleaning in the Westchase section of Tampa.
It uses some stuff you have never heard of before, and it is "Top Secret" at this moment.
If you look closely, you can see the Apple Goo dropping from the spoon into the glass.
The glass has SH, and my magic ingredients in it.

Ken, we just made this! It was honestly an accident. I have been playing with different chlorine compatible roof cleaning chemicals, and accidentally mixed 2 together during an experiment. Chit started happening fast, and pretty soon, we had Chlorine Jello.
I have not used this to clean roofs yet, though my Son is doing 2 tile roofs with a crude mixture of this in his tank.
The stuff seems to keep getting thicker and thicker, the longer it sits. I did not dare put as much in our tanks, did not want to take a chance of Making Jello!
I swear to God Ken, this stuff looks like Hair Gel with Chlorine in it.
You have the idea correct, more dwell time, a weaker mix, less money spent on chems, and little run off.
Plus, it is CLEAR, and unlike Foam, you can see it clean!
I say hopefully, because I have not fully field tested it yet.
Also, one of the chemicals is actually a fragrance dispersant that I was looking at to allow a cheaper way to cover the chlorine smell.
Imagine a one step roof cleaning product that will Gel Up the mix, and smell good too, CHEAP !
It MIGHT even increase dwell time enough to allow store bleach to clean, and if so, I can sell it to every homeowner in america as a do it yourself way to clean their own roof.

This is brand new Ron, but if it works, and I feel good that it will, it is ALKALINE STABLE, meaning our Kitchen Hood Cleaners will also be able to use it. And, hold on tight, there's more!
No Foaming Equipment needed either.
Unlike a complex foamer, this actually Gel's up all by itself in your tank. IOW, you "Bring The Cling"

True. I guess it brings up the usual thoughts of how there is a fine line between how thick is enough and I'm sure that will be determined thru testing, rinse ability during cleaning as well as when it does come down from the roof if there are no gutters, etc..Time will tell tho....

I suppose since it's in it's early stage of development, we can call it Apple Goo Goo Ga Ga ? LOL.....

I would think pumps would have a hard time and burn up using something that thick
I remember growing up, back in Detroit, and the first time I ever shot a gun. It was a shotgun, and we were on a farm, shooting large, left over Pumpkins.
I loved the way it blew the back of the Pumpkin off, and I could nt get enough shooting in.
That's how I felt today Kory and Ken, that for the first time, I could make my mix thick as I wanted to, at will.
It does not have to be this thick. I just wanted the camera to capture the Gel. You need not worry Kory, many air pumps like we use can spray larger particles sizes. Hint - They use em in Orange Juice Plants to pump acidic pulp !
I don't know about Ken ?
Udor will probably tell him when his pump brakes "Since you have been spraying the Apple Goo, the warranty is VOID"
I have a LOT of Bugs to work on, and lots of testing to do. I can see right now this is some seriously powerful stuff. A little too much added to a full tank of chemical, and you can be screwed. It will gel up like Spike Your Hair Gel, and if you don't allow for some extra water in case that happens, you are screwed!
It looks like it will have to be stirred before you spray, perhaps a pump bypass agitation system will be best to keep it mixed up ?
It is NEW to me, and I will try my best to figure it out.

I would guess the Udor can spray some thicker stuff given the 300psi rating but it will also play hell on the weakest link, the valve springs...just changed out a few today got about 8 months of decent use out em.

I think so too Ken
Farmers use them, so do pest control guys, and lawn guys who spray all kinds of chit

I washed one last week that was a asphalt coated metal barrel tile shingle. It ran off of it as fast I could spray it up there.I used over 130 gals of mix on a 4000 sp ft house.I can't get the pics to upload or I would post em.I wish I would have had something like this.

A thick semi Gel would not have run off as fast JC. When the mix runs, it is not up there cleaning for you. The Gel gives much more dwell time because it stays put. This allows a weaker mix, less chemical usage, with less potential for plant damage.

This really thick roof cleaning mix has been found to aid in the killing of far too many plants. It seems the better it sticks too roofs, the better it sticks to plants, when it comes off the roof! We find that unless you make shaving cream foam, the chit comes off the roof eventually. LOL, Gravity sucks!
