Anybody use Radio ads?

Tony - have you now installed these on your website or put them as backgrounds in your You Tubes?

We got zero response on our ad on the radio but have had good success with using the audio on both the site & YT.

I'm doing it right now trying out that software you pointed me to. Thanks

That is a great idea Celeste.

When you do a radio ad, do you own the ad so you can use it in other markets, stations and put it on your website?

I did a tv commercial years ago but it was on the wrong station, the wrong target audience and even when he gave me more time for free, still not even one call but the guys at the refinery told me that they saw the ad.

We got the commercial sent to us - they didn't attach any strings, we didn't ask.

Just FYI - I have a guy (on the PWNC site) that will do voice overs for you at a VERY reasonable price. Mike Cooke has one on his site (www.ppcmb.com) If you are interested in hooking up, shoot me a pm and I'll get you his info. I'm still trying to get his actual site up.

Celeste, does that guy sound like the Movie trailer announcer guy that just passed away? That would be cool to have a voice like that on the videos.

Sorry Chris - I don't know the voice of the guy you're talking about. You can listen on Mike's site and judge for yourself?

We did TV and radio at the same time. Our tv yielded almost zero response, we got 20 calls and about 7 jobs off of the radio spots, and we only ran 60 spots.

We are now bumping our radio budget up quite a bit. Different markets react differently

I think unless you can afford a Super Bowl ad, TV spots will never yield much response, because I can talk for a lot of people when I say commercial time is to pee and get snacks :D
