that’s the link if anyone’s interested.

What ever you’re told about the time you will spend? Double that and figure you’ll be there longer. I was told by a buddy that another companies does there wet racks in no time at all. Two days later I was still on the project. Offer them a taste of your work. If you really don’t know what it’s going to take do a side of one building and multiply that time by four. That’s a good estimate of how long its going to take and the customers gets a peak at your level of clean. Don’t pick the worst building but don’t pick the easiest either.

I have been doing this a long time and funny things you never think about happen. People sleeping in buildings and they want you there only during certain hours. Make sure you stipulate the hours of operation. Sometimes they like to turn your one day into two.

Doing a small sections will give you and idea of how long it will take. And remember two things your not doing for yourself it’s to show them your work. Second remember if it takes you 5 hours after you do a couple you will get faster. Allow for knocking off 20% after you have your methods down pat.

Ron P mentioned about having and extra guy. Sometimes this can ad a cost and sometimes it can save you money. If by yourself you only get three in one day but with a helper you complete 5 then having and extra body is a plus. Trim a couple days off the job for a few hundred in labor and your utilizing that time making a hundred and hour later in the week. Ron p. does have a point you need to watch that because it can work against you. Sometimes people can just slow you down and just cost you money.
