Okay QB pro's.......
How do I sync 2 QB's on 2 different computers. Same files and everything but I need to update each one with the others info. I have the same version on my laptop and need to do some data entry. Im going to be sitting in a hospital with a sick family member and was going to do some work while Im waiting around. How do I go mind meld them together?

Thanks

If the information is identical and you keep them the same, just use a thumb drive, create a back up and restore it on the computer that you're away from after you've made changes. Very simple, we do it all the time.

Check out Quickbooks Remote Access

I think that's about the only way to do it. I can use the same company file on all 4 of my computers, however, their all on 1 network.

That's about the only option I think if you have Quickbooks on your home computer. But if you wan't to make a switch to Online only, you can check out Quickbooks: Online Edition here: http://oe.quickbooks.com/_bb/index.cfm

If you dont want to network this would be your easy option...I actually showed a few this in Bama.

Yeah backup on the laptop then restore to your pc. REMEMBER, anything you did to the one on your pc will be overwritten.

Thanks for the input. I do have them on the same network. I know if I restore it, it will overwrite whatever is there. If I take one off the network, change it, and then put it back in, will it update the shared database?
