I registered a new domain name yesterday with GoDaddy. Today they lock the account and demand I send them a copy of [my] driver license. WTFUWT??
 
It's ok Derrel, you might be a terrorist. It's a small price to pay for your safety.

That information will never be used against you if you post anything against Obama.

If you're not doing anything illegal what are you afraid of?

Websites are a privilege, not a right.
 
Apparently GoDaddy is in bed with all the alphabet clubs (CIA, NSA, FBI, TSA, DOJ, DHS, NBC, CBS, ABC, SEC, PAC, ACC .... the list goes on and on).
 
You look like a dodgy character with your shirt pulled up over your head. I'd be suspicious of you as well . LOL

I bought like 8 domains from GD, they never asked me for anything. I just got another one a month ago. Does that mean I can't use them? Who owns these domains after I pay them the money. I don't want godaddy hosting my new site, once I get it up and running. Did I just waste money on a useless domain?
