I got called to clean a roof for the owner of the building and found these ducts on the roof. The pics were from my phone, so they are not the best. In one of the ducts as it curved up, there was about an incha nd a half of grease. Me thinks that someone is going to lose a large account, since this restaurant is cleaned monthly. We asked the manager, and she said no one ever goes up on the roof. For what it is worth, I did not have to remove any covers to take these pictures, and the owner of the building was standing next to me as I took them.

Nice photos Scott.........You should bid this one and do it.

It could be your first step toward the big money. Think of all the money you'll make at this job going there every month. They are just begging to to take their money.

"Grease is just good clean fun, is a lot easier than it looks and hardly anyone is doing it." LOL :D

If you go back, open that access under the fan, reach in there and open the access on the duct and get a good photo looking up and looking down!!

There was no cover on the fan, and no grease containment system. I looked down into the duct, and there was about an inch of liquid grease in the bottom before it went into the duct. (i hope that is clear.) I tried to open the access door, but it would have needed achisel to get it off. Both the owner of the building and I tried, because I got him really curious.
As for the offer to be a Hood Rat, no thanks. I will remain a dumb truck washer with the occasional concrete job...
For what it is worth, I can guive you a lead on about 30 busy mexican taco stands in the Phoenix area, and They probably have a bunch in California somewhere that you could pick up.

Hmmm this might be a new idea  ......I could 'say' that I offer "Nationwide Service" and then fly in, promise the world to them and sell all 30 of them in one shot. I won't even inspect them myself.....I'll just give them 1 price per store. Then I'll cold call out of the yellow pages, IKECA/ PWNA membership and then subcontract them to the lowest bidder possible...I'll beat all the subs up on their price until I make as much profit as I possibly can.

I Dunnwellknow this will be be a great idea. :D

Hopefully Ron will not kick me off this board

Or maybe "GibWell".....or "Facigib"..."Gibmercial Services"

Why beat around the bush - Lets just call it "Gibson".
Trump can pull it off, Why can't I?
