in your proffesional opinion , what would be the lowest psi and gpm needed to allow me to do houses, decks, greased engines, heavy equipment, and other all around pressure washing?
I use 1500PSI..... that would work good if your looking to do heavy equipment and engine degreasing. House washing you can do lower.... You can use whatever gallon a minute. May not be to effecient if its low GPM. 8gpm and you can roll pretty fast. but 5gpm works just fine for alot of people.
sorry about the signiture, il look it up and see what it is, I was under the assumption that this was "ASK THE PROFESSOR" page. hey just asking questions and trying to get involved
Houses and decks 1000-1500, heavy equipment 2000-2500, flat work 3000-4000. Min GPM to be efficient 4gpm on homes 5+ on everything else. Once you go over 8gpm you can get to the point of diminishing returns depending on the work you are doing.
thanks for the help. I just bought a older unit that works fine. it has 2200 psi at 4gpmand a 220 degree burner. i hope to start something up here in maine
