Do you agree ?

TYSONS CORNER, Va. (AP)—Defending national champion Alabama is No. 1 atop the USA Today preseason coaches’ poll.
Boise State will begin the season ranked No. 5. The Broncos, like Alabama, finished last season 14-0. They beat TCU in the Fiesta Bowl.

The Crimson Tide got 55 of 59 possible first place votes. The other four went to Ohio State, which is No. 2 in the newspaper’s ranking.
Florida is third, followed by Texas, which lost to Alabama in the BCS title game in January.
Virginia Tech was sixth, followed by TCU, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Iowa to round out the top 10.
Nos. 11-15 are Oregon, Wisconsin, Miami, Penn State and Pittsburgh. They were followed by LSU, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Arkansas and Florida State, which will be without Bobby Bowden as coach for the first time in 35 years.
Georgia is No. 21, Oregon State No. 22, Auburn No. 23 and Utah and West Virginia tied for No. 24.
The coaches’ poll is part of the BCS formula used to determine its national champion.

RTR!!!! Man I cant wait!!!!
Me either Travis! One thing for shure, the USC Cheaters will not be national champs. So much for their"Dynasty" huh ?

Im Auburn all the way. Im still proud of Bama. They accomplished alot. My undying hatred of USC makes me dance with delight that their "dynasty" has crashed down around them. I could never stand them or their coach.

Need to start planning my saturday phone calls to Russ, now. I am thinking midway in the fourth quarter.

Chris I hope I dont eat these words but they will NEVER be a National Champ!
No, they never will be. But you got to admire what they have accomplished.

LOnce a Gator always a Gator. Wait..there was that time in the '70's that some idiot bought me a Bulldog and a FSU shirt, but they are still family lol.

I am not sure about the Gators as of yet. Not just because Tebow is gone, but just a host of other pos questions. Also, not too fond of a coach that wanted to retire not too long ago.

At least we do not have a coach who tucks tail from the NFL to coach in the SEC..not mentioning names though :deadhorse:

I found this post on a sports forum, and pretty much agree with it.

West
1. Alabama - Stop pointing out the defensive holes. There are none. Alabama is not rebuilding, simply reloading. Look at the roster!
2. Arkansas - Very potent offense. Defense is improving.
3. LSU - Miles is losing control of this program. One gets the sense that the players don't have a lot of confidence in him. with as much talent as they have there is no excuse for losing more than two games per season.
4. Auburn - truthfully; I don't really know what to think. I wouldn't be surprised to see Auburn contend for the west. The kittens should be much improved on both sides of the ball. However, the trend is moving back toward defense in the SEC because new schemes are making the spread a bit defunct. Alabama wasn't ready last year because we were focusing on Florida. I wouldn't call it disrespect, I actually think Saban was willing to take the loss just to make sure Tebow and the Gators were brought down a notch. Make no mistake, the Tide views last year's iron bowl as a failure. This year trickery will not work. Auburn will have to "man-up" to even be able to keep it to within 14. The spread is being sent back to the west coast.
5. Ole Miss - Kool-Aid
6. Miss State - Will be improved. I think they will sneak up on a few people. This team may be capable of finishing 4th.

East
1. Florida - The post-Tebow era will certainly be felt but let's face it, Urban Meyer can coach. The east is down right now so they should be able to tip-toe through a weak schedule with the biggest test in October when they face Alabama in the regular season.
2. Georgia - Richt is certainly unnerved over last season. With the talent UGA has, expect them to look much different.
3. South Carolina - Not much in the way of talent but Spurrier is a great offensive mind and the east is down.
4. Kentucky - Again, the east is down.
5. Tennessee - If Kiffin was still there I'd place them at #2. UT won't be too sharp this year. DD comes from a good bloodline but he's not a miracle worker.
6. Vandy......................

SEC Championship game: Alabama vs. Florida. Alabama defeats the Gators for the second time in the season.

Alabama will be headed to Glendale Arizona this year to face Ohio State.

Too cut and dry in my opinion. Just like every year there will be teams who lose to other teams that they have no business doing so to.

I am not a Nebraska fan by any means since that whoopin they put on my Gators for the championship, but they did have a awesome defense last year. They are only losing sooooooie, so that will not make enoughof a difference in how they play. They have a good offensive line and rB so the only question they need answered is at QB.

Alabama vs Ohio "Choke" Buckeyes is just too cut and dry. They will both produce, but I doubt we see them both in the big dance...
