Actually the average CEO pay is only 9.2 million. 500 time less than that is only $18,500.
50 times higher than that would be $925,000.
That leaves $8,325,000 to divvy up per company. Which at $18,500 per person would only add 450 jobs per company or a total of 225,000 total jobs across the board. Not enough of an increase to justify it.
I dont have a problem with making significantly more then my employees. The way I figure it, if they want a higher paying job, they can go get it. Of course, I pay my employees decent, though not a lot, and they know that I am typically working on something that would help them, but still.
Then again, it is still not 500 times what my employees make.
