What is the best way to advertise to commercial company's? I have been advertising to residential customers through a money mailer and have had pretty good success but because I of my time schedual I would like to get away from the residential accounts and get into more of the commercial side. I want to do more flat work with my surface cleaner like store fronts, bank drive throughs, gas stations etc.
Is there anyway to contact the commercial businesses through mail or is it best to contact them in person?

Thanks

Most business's are deluged with mail. It would be a very minimal return on any type of mailer and most likely a waste of money. Beating the streets is the only thing I have found effective for commercial work.

It's about a solid campaign. mutual advertising along with walking in. calenders, pens, cups, note pads, Intro letters & all other things you could imagine.

takes five times for a new person to have any name regonitions.

Comercial accounts don't happen overnight. we work some months and others years.

be consistant and don't think its not working. they often are waiting to see your not a flash in the pan.

My strongest thing is Since 1984, use it if you got it.

Keep in mind there a hundreds of us in and out everyday. And they know this.

Thank's for the info!

Thank's for the reply's I to agree. I am just going to start going door to door and try to get some contracts started doing flat work.
Flat work seems to be the easiest and it sure is less effort with my 24in steel eagle surface cleaner.

Flat pricing

I have a 16 eagle, and am wondering what kinda price to use. I have the delco price guide and experience, but I want to make sure I am not scaring them away. Parking lots and sidewalks are all but abandoned here when it comes to cleaning. What would you charge a mcdonalds with the majority of the grime being by the doors, and the race track, but there is a huge part of the parking lot that they might think is unesecary. also they have never been done professionally so are horrible.
