adjusting fuel pressure

Where on the becket burner do you adjust the fuel pressure?

Also on the becket there is a bracket that is adjustable and can change where the flame is, what are the reprocusions if you move the flame a little futher back or forward?

On the fuel pump, theres a slotted screw that is recessed. Probably right next to where the diesel goes into the pump. On the top (suntec) there's a 1/4" pipe fitting where you can put a fuel pressure gauge, it has a bolt in it from the factory. There's a lot of back and forth between fuel pressure, airmix, smoke etc but I think you need a thermometer on the output and a fuel pressure gauge so you can find what is giving you the most heat.

Like Tom said, it's a recessed screw head on the back of the fuel pump,

All you'll do by sliding that bracket is screw up the flame front. It's set for optimum burn. If it has been moved, you'll have to pull the burner off to set it right. Check page 10 for proper adjustment.

on the pressure pro units there is a sticker placed exactly where it should be reset to if moved. I replaced it to the proper position. I will be playing with the fuel tonight and seeing where it goes from there as well as air intake if i get too much fuel and not enough air
