Add another machine?

Currently I run a 4.5 gpm hot water machine drawing from a 1,000 gal tank on my truck. I want to run another totally seperate 4.5 gpm system (just sharing the water supply) from another truck but want to know how to work in the bypass line from the unloader (K7) on the new truck?
Do I need to also run a by-pass line back to my main truck?

Yes. I would put a quick coupler in the bypass line for easy disconnect.
