We wanted to bring everyone up to speed on what’s new here on TGS. Over the past year we have taken on some very, very large projects, and also have added new services to our offerings. We have worked long and hard to attain these goals. We feel that at this point we need to adjust our focus, and stay on the course that launched our business to begin with, back in 1999. After much reflection, Rod and I have decided to discontinue distributing products, and will be focusing on our business as contractors only. We will not be selling any contractor items beginning on April 10th, and on this day the store will close.
How does this impact other things? Well, we feel it will be GREAT for TGS. The only thing that has held back TGS is us being distributors. Some folks have been hesitant to post about other products out of respect for us selling things. This is changing. Please post about any product you like. The feel of TGS is about to change, a site by contractors, for contractors. This is going to be great! We will have all the other functions, the chat, the gallery, the arcade, the main portal page, all of it. The only thing we are removing is the store.
What if I have an order in with TGS now? All backorders will be filled. No worries there.
Are we going to have one last sale? Yes! We are going to have one last sale, so take a peek in the store, and look for posts about items we are spotlighting. They will be posted very soon.
It the TGS Store for sale? Any interested parties should contact us for details regarding the store database. It is the only database we are parting with, but yes, it is for sale.
We will be selling banner space to vendors and distributors here on TGS to help defray the cost of maintaining the site. The cost for a one year banner will be $150.00. Banners will appear on the bottom or top of the page depending on the skin the member uses to view the forums, and will also get a link to their site on the FAQ area.
We appreciate the opportunity many of you have given to us as your distributor, and we want to let all of you all know we are still here for you, and we welcome and encourage your calls for help and advice.
