9gpm 5,000 PSI

I was just talking to Paul K about something like that and also a huge turbo nozzle that can handle about 13 gpm and 3000 to 5000 psi for some projects.

The gpm and psi are out there, just give the vendors a call and they can get you what you need, just show them the money and it will be on the way.

Those guys also wear full masks with almost a body armor. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of any high pressure, let alone 40k!!! Bye bye life....

I worked bridges and we had up to 10,000 psi, used it at around 7500 - 8000 psi. We had the BIG guys operate it, we had some big bruisers. A couple days one of them was out and I had to man the wand...OMG, I had to brace myself up against the bridge beams to pull the trigger. Man it was a bit*h. 2nd day I was dead and did probably half the work of the other guys

Lots of potiential downside with a unit that powerful. If you get one, make sure you armor up.

It sounds cool, though.

It would be expensive. Pumps that size usually run somewhere between $3500-$5000+ and then you will need a big motor to run it. You could use 2 pumps and make it cheaper.

As far as being too powerfull, well I wouldn't send employees out with it. They could cause damage or injury real fast!

I had been planning on building a machine like your talking about, then John with Clean Co. put his silver eagle up for sale cheaper than I could build one for and I bought it. Its 4500psi and 11 gpm. Awesome machine, I underestimated how much faster work would be with it!! My 30" surface cleaner sounds like it is going to take off!!!!! LOL

I am going to build a big one for fleet washing with 2 tsf General pumps hopefully this summer, but it will only be around 1500-2000 psi and 17-20 gpm.

That sounds perfect!!! You guys are right that there is added cost and liability .... but with that comes added $$$$. Industrial cleaning is where it's at for us right now. I think the cheapest we have cleaned concrete has been around $0.19 / sq. ft.
