8GPM Hot water skid under 38" height

This can be done. If you want I can get you a quote. Let me know.

Is there on the market a Hot water skid 8GPM that is less than 38" height? Has anyone here modified his rig's frame and relocate the components?

Thanks!

Dimitar, have you called Russ J. or Rex? I am very sure that either of these guys can do what you want if it can be done and probably have done it already.

I am not ready yet to make the purchase, but wanted to gather some feedbacks from guys who might have done similar thing. I am thinking to take apart my 8GPM machine and move it from the trailer to the flatbed truck. On the other hand, I would like to have on the truck only new equipment. I still want to keep low clearance to be able to get into parking garages. One thing for sure, this truck needs another machine on it to be a complete PW battle ship :).

I saw pictures of a rig a few years back where a guy had cut up a Delco hot water machine and stuffed it in the back of a F350 under a shell. Pretty cool.

Dimitar, that will not be an impossible project.

I have thought about that myself for some similar projects in the last couple years.

My Hotsy rig has vertical burners so that will be a problem but for rigs that have horizontal burners the problem is just moving the bottom half out from under the top half and keeping it kind of close together because of the wiring and stuff so not really that big of a problem.

Other than cutting the top half off at the base plate and cutting a few extra inches off the frame for extra clearance, I really don't see a big problem doing this.

One thing to think about is that now your rig will need extra space to the side because of moving the pump/engine to the side from out from under the coil but it looks like you still have plenty of room for that.

Give Russ J. or Rex a call, I am very sure that they could help you out with this project and give you the pro's and con's.

BullDogPro blasters are modular..
the 23hp pump system is only about 28" high,
and our horizontal heater is about the same.
Separate frames makes it real simple to configure for serviceability too.
I love my work.
e-mail me for images,
I don't have the horizontal heater on my website yet.
