5.5 or 6.0? Confusion on tip size and unloader..

I was hoping I could get some clarity hear. I own a Landa 5/3000 machine. Now, in researching the pump, its apparently a 4.8gpm with a max of 3500 psi. ON the machine it says "GPM: 5.0, PSI: 3000, Nozzle: 060". So am I understanding that with a 6.0 nozzle I will/could get 5 gpm at 3,000 psi? Oh, this has a GX390 engine.

It came with 6.0 nozzles, and after doing a bucket test, I am really getting 5.1-5.2 gpm (using ball valve). With a 6.0 nozzle I can get 2800 (2700 with hose) max with very minimum bypass, like a very small trickle. The "problem" is, and maybe its not a problem, my surface cleaner reads at 2300psi, this is with the gauge attached to end of hose. It has 2x3.0 nozzles, so setup for 6gpm. And no water is bypassing.

I guess first off I should say... to set the unloader I set the gauge right after the unloader. I crank my handle until the maximum pressure - which I believe is when (+) turns on unloader only produces a higher SPIKE pressure. So at 6.0 that was 2900. Anything over 2900, I just got higher spike. So then I backed the unloader to 2800, and screwed that nut tight. Does that sound right?

But, because of my SC operating psi of 2300, I have contemplated, and actually tried 5.5 nozzles. I get 3,000 psi after hose, and my surface cleaner goes up to 25-2600. I DO have more bypass when using my wand, but none with the SC.

So after all this, I want to ask - should I keep the 6.0 nozzles or use 5.5 nozzles? I know its like splitting hairs, but I also wonder why Landa put "6.0" as nozzle size. Like I said, I get 5.1-5.2gpm, so wouldnt a 5.5 make more sense? I just want to be able to effectively clean concrete, and not sure if 2300 psi is enough.

I would appreciate any help.
Thank you.
