We are very pleased with this year. Excellent growth, good profit margins, and a focused, but diverse line of services have kept us (and are keeping us) as busy as we need to be. Not necessarily as busy as we want to be, but is anyone ever that busy?? :)

Thanks to some advanced marketing planning, maintaining solid relationships, surpassing the expectations of our clients, a booming economy, and a successful re-election campaign, we think that next year will be as they say "Off the HOOK!!!"

Are you talking gross or net for "made"?
Just to make it clear. It was a year that has been pretty much on par with tha last three or four years. a little growth, an increase in revenue, and had to buy another new truck. It was all plodding along until I had one of my regualr acocunts call me with about 1,000,000 feet to get cleaned right now. So, last month I did about 700,000 feet of concrete in additional work, and this month, I have an order and po in place for another 300,000. It is a nice little addition. [cool]

We've been hopping all year and it seems to be increasing daily - Haven't kept up with how much money we've made - I figure as long as the personal & business bills are paid, we can buy stuff as we need or want it and we have time for family, we must be doing fine :)

87 degrees 365 days a year...I like endless summer!!!

We wash year round - the hubby goes to the mountains alot over the winters and breaks the ice of driveways, sidewalks, and whatever has ice on it with the steam unit on our washer. Biggest thing up there is getting the ice shingles off the ski lodges and store fronts. Very dangerous job - but he uses the lift and breaks them off from overhead.

Tourist season...gotta love it.

The rental place rents powerwashers during the winter for $250 AN HOUR so the homeowners can break up thier own ice - these hoity toity people want nothing to do with working - so they call us! Plus then my husband gets to go skiiing. ( Our family has a condo their - thank god for rich uncles )

As for the poll - this was our first year running commercial business, so we have had a GIANT increase over last years residential only service. We have done over $40k in commercial business alone and hope to step it up next year!

6 months for me April thru september, i take bets on football the rest of the season, oh well im from brooklyn. not trying to get rich just wanna wet my beak. lol

I can't Complain.... Had another great year.. We were around 115,000. this year and things look great for 2008.. I just hope I Can hold up this year .. At 42 years old I have a little more trouble getting around (6 days a week 8 hours a night ) ... my bones pop and squeak a little bit more than they use too.

I love working all year long, could not and would not do anything else.

I have another family member that Plows snow in the summer and pressure cleans in the winter. he lives in Chicago. LOL

That is quite common in Chi Town, and in Detroit, where I was born.

we had a deceint year. would have done better, but still building the business. i spend way to much on tools.

I understand the tool spending...my wife doesnt understand why I have to keep spending money as I make it. She doesnt understand that time is money and what we purchase speeds us up, makes our jobs easier and make our work better!!!
I think I can see the light though!

Even though its old its a goody
