For a two story house with shrubs and other ground obstructions...how do you experts typically reach the upper story safely? A ladder and just keep moving it? Thanks!

two stiry houses

Tim,

Here is some advice for NOT working yourself to death!!!

Spend a little bit more money on the proper chemicals and let them do all the work! Work smarter not harder! Properly washing a house can be done with the right chemical and a water hose most of the time! We don't want the customer to know how it easy it is though...i'm just saying, use the proper chemical to eliminate all the dirt from the surface and spray it off. That is not to say you will not ever need pressure to clean a house. Just most of the time the right product will do the hard part for you.

So, how do you get it up there??? The "X-Jet" nozzle. Will reach a two story home with no problem. No ladder needed!!! The X-Jet claims it will shoot chemical up to 40'. That may be a stretch. Especially if the wind is blowing. However, it will spray chemicals 30' with not much difficulty. It really does work and is worth the $150.00. Again, no ladder needed.

To summarize, (too late for that right) use the right chemical, use the right tool to get it to the surface and rinse it right off.

Hope that helps.

The xjet is great........and to top it off, I would suggest you also have a 24' extension wand. I prefer the Extend-A-Wand www.extendawand.com

You should be able to clean any two story house and not leave the ground............unless its some hard to reach spot with a roof under it, far away from the ground.

I use an adjustable (Hi-Lo) nozel in place of the Xjet. I can do a 3 story house with it and my upstream injector. I have never used an Xjet (probably because I never needed one) but I get what I need from my $15 adjustable nozle and my chlorine house wash.
