12 POINT ***** DEER DOWN via TRUCK!!!

Got a call this morning about daybreak from a friend of mine to see if I would pick up a buck he had hit with his truck and take to the processor.
Got there and this buck was lying in someones front lawn.
It was a 12 point with about 16 spread and 7" brow tines!!
This guy don't hunt so not bad for a first deer, repairs on truck in excess of $3,500.

this morning I was 30 ft up a tree and along came couple does with smaller buck chasing um, I choose to shoot the doe with my 270, Shot was to far behind and trailed her for 3 hrs with my Rottie (He found the trail when I lost it) jumped her 3 hrs later, went back to house got my argo(6 wheeler) and a shotgun, My rottie found her again and was staring her down when I let have it with some double 00. Fun day today...I had to work for her!!
