    Pressure releif valve

I recently had a shurflo that we sprayed Sh with die. In an effort to keep working and complete jobs I purchased a pump up sprayer with no pressure releif valve on it. Well my son got carried away and over pumped it, blowing the hose off the tank and sending Sh out the opening. We were...

    Bypass Dump

My intentions here are to ask a question and to jump start this part of the board. I do not use a water tank. We always have plenty of water available. I want the benefit of having the unloader dumping water in bypass. This will keep the pump cool indefinately by only allowing fresh water...

    Linking two machines

Wiz and Fellow PWers, I have tried this and it works fantastic. Not for all jobs but can be highly beneficial on certain types. I would say 80% of the time spent on a job is rinsing. Improving gpm by 75% can reduce job time tremedously. Have a question though. Two d.d. machines 3000 psi...

    Ford PSD- Won't Start

Ok had this problem and must pass it on. If you have a psd and are in a sustained cold climate for several days never let the fuel tank get below 1/4. What happened to me was that it was a needles width below the 1/4. The fuel will start gelling on the pump pick up. If left above the 1/4 mark...

    Trailer safety

Just wanted to remind folks that any trailer over a 3500# capacity should have a break away break and safety chains. A good man was killed yesterday when a goose neck trailer came loose. The hitch in the truck broke loose from its mounting hardware. The trailer came loose and rammed head on...

    Hot Water Heater

Ok I know some of you may think this is a crazy question. Have any of you built your own heaters? I know that I can buy one in the $800-1400. dollar range. Think I can buy the componets and builder a better unit for a similar cost. I hear that vertical burners seem to have less problems...
