Ball valves - great in theory - but I haven't found one that doesn't need a cheater bar to turn off or on after a couple weeks. Does this only happen to me? I've put silicone, oil etc in the valve, sometimes it helps but not for long. Looking for teflon or any recommendations. Thanks.
Talking to some greasers in Vegas and reading Medberrys post that picasa can't contain all his photos I decided that sending pictures to pm's after their work was done was a good idea - you get to keep in touch, they remember you're working for them, they can be impressed with the spectacular...
In a diesel engine, propane injection dramatically increases combustion efficiency to near 100%. An open flame is a different situation but I wonder if there would be a benefit to adding propane - more heat, same heat with less fuel, colorful flames, something?
Just returned from Vegas (drove) , traffic backed up at Hoover, decided to take alternate route instead Bullhead, Havasu etc.
First would like to say a big thanks to Tony for everything -Time, effort, work, expenses etc etc , and Matt from Colorado. Shelly and Chris Shelton - Thanks also. Tony...
Looking for actual experiences with sand-media nozzle jobs.
I know it must be the perfect answer for some things - right now I want to remove the water stains from the tiles in the swimming pool. I've heard glass bead and I know there are companies that make specific media. Does this work and...
What is the premium for enviro cleaning?
What should the markup be for reclaiming?
I know it's a lot of factors but I wonder what the market price is and is going to be.
At shopping centers I notice some windows that the water justsheets up and dissappears off the windows. I think it's the places that are constantly windex-ing their windows. Has the ammonia changed the glass? I'm wondering if it's possible to change the surface of the glass or treat it?
In the swabby video, an old one anyway, they use a powder that clears up the water. Flocculation I think.
Anyone know about this?
What does it remove?
Water quality?
Where to get, how much?
Is this what the swabby lawsuit was about?
When lye mixes with any type of grease/oil it turns into soap. Something I don't think is very hazardous and is like greywater that people put on their lawn etc. So if you used a commensurate amount of lye, there wouldn't be any left in the runoff, right?
It seems like it's not whats in the...

How well does RO/DI work?
Is it perfectly spot free?
Do you clean first with soap and then rinse?
How does RO compare to DI?
What about plain soft water?
What a bout something like dishwasher spot-free rinse?
Thanks
At what temperature does the water get special powers? Is there a number where the water starts to do something different?
What are some things that can only be done with very high-heat?
Where are the biggest improvements in speed or effectiveness?
Will very high heat clean without soap...
Is there anything worse? Dumpster enclosures can be prettygross but when you find that little present  .
And when you get a 'leaner' at a center

Do you bill extra? What do you bill as - Guano?
I have a gear drive setup that started making some clunking noises. Taking the gearbox off I found the keyways and keys were jacked-up. Looking inside the gearbox the bearings are destroyed. The whole setup seemed bulletproof so I'm wondering which caused what? I had two keys - one stayed on the...
I realize there is a practical vs technically legal issue here.
If the states wants to suck up to the feds then are they and their cities bound by the fed regs? Can they add on whatever they want?
The clean water act clearly says if the water doesn't reach the waterways- no requirement.
We've...
Are car washes a viable wastewater dump? Anyone use them and what kind of agreement did you work out. If they're compliant, would you then be compliant as to your disposal?
It feels in many ways that 'we' are treated like the bad guys, contaminating our nation, poisoning the water supply. When talking about outdoor cleaning, if we didn't show up or do anything - ITS ALL GOING DOWN THE STORMDRAIN!
And to the property owner, we're the one who's going to get them a...
