Seeing that fan made me think of Pecos Bills down on the South end of Victory by Griffith Park. That place used to have the best BBQ sandwiches in L.A.

Looks more like a grain elevator than an exhaust duct.
Any pix from the inside, I bet they would be just as interesting.

Matt, that is not an exhaust system. You must all be city boys.
That is a grain elevator. If you look in the round pipe, you should see the auger that moves the grain up the round pipe (duct). That thing does not meet NFPA 96, but it does meet the GRANGE 96. But is is at least made of metal. I once saw a duct made of aluminum taped up w/duct tape, screwed to a plywood duct.

J’ai attendu plus de trois heures pour un rendez-vous chez le médecin et je m’ennuyais énormément. J’ai sorti mon téléphone et j’ai ouvert le spin mama bonus.
