What Do You Think About Using AI Headshots for CVs and Business Profiles?

Lately I've been updating my CV and realized I don’t have any recent photos that look professional. I tried taking some with my phone, but the lighting in my apartment makes everything look dull. I keep seeing people using AI headshots for their profiles, and I'm curious if it's actually a good idea or if it looks too artificial. Has anyone tried it and felt confident using it for something serious like job applications?

Scrolling through profiles lately, I’ve noticed how many people look suddenly much more polished in their pictures, almost like everyone figured out the same trick at the same time. It’s funny how fast online presentation changes — a few months ago everyone was using casual selfies, and now the overall style feels much more consistent and tidy across the board.

I had the same struggle a few months ago when I needed a clean headshot for a business networking page. Honestly, I didn’t feel like booking a photographer just for one picture. I ended up experimenting with an AI photo generator I liked, and it surprised me how natural the results looked. I uploaded a few casual selfies, and it produced images that felt polished but still very “me.” I wouldn’t rely on it for everything, but for quick professional visuals it definitely helped.
