Can someone tell me what kind of PW should I buy. Which brand is good,what specs.:confused:
 
What do you plan to be using the PW for?
 
residential & commercial. Houses, stores, reustaurant, sidewalks, driveways............
 
Just a thought. Shouldn't he check on what the average water flow is for the water outlets in his area? If he doesn't have enough water on him to complete a job, 6 gallons per minute is about 1.5 higher than what I experience in a lot of areas down here due to wells.

:confused: Is Landa MHP Hot Water Pressure Washer, 13 HP, 3500Psi, 4 GPM enough to use with any surface cleaner like Landa Water Jet, Landa Cyclone or Mosmatic. :rolleyes:

It will turn them as long as you don't go too big, maybe 20". But you are going to be there for a while. I started with 4gpm, didn't take long to realize what they were talking about. "Bigger is Better" after that I bought a 5gpm, then a 5.5gpm. Listen to the Big Guys, they have done it.
 
On that link, I would go with the SSD-603567E/G 5.6 3500 Lombardini 27 Diesel 120V AC.

1. 120 V seem to work better for the boiler.
2. 5.6 GPM is what I started with 18 years ago. This volume of water will help to drive those surface cleaners you wanted. Also less chance of etching the cement in gum removal.
3. 3500 psi is good enough for most jobs.

Check the BTU's. Never just go with the advertised heat rating. BTU's don't lie, the way someone may calculate the heat rise do.

However, if you are planning to do hoods, 5.6 GPM maybe to much water and/or pressure.

That's my two cents
 
Don't waste your time with a 4gpm. You'll find yourself going for at least a 5.5 by next season. Go to a local dealer, and ask to demo a 4.0 and a 5.5. You'll never look back.

Where should I go around here? To see the demo!? New Britain, Connecticut.:confused:

What can I do to get 5-5.5GPM out of Landa MHP model 4GPM, 13 HP, 3500 PSI? What will it take? Changing the pump, engine??????????? Let me know!:confused: :eek: :eek: :(

Call Russ Johnson Or Bob, they have some very good deals on Pressure Pro Skids. They are inexpensive compared to most.
Get at least a 5.5 GPM 3000-3500 psi. Hot water would be better. Have a buffer tank on a trailer for areas with low GPM. You may want to go 8gpm that is plenty for anything you will probably ever do. The more GPM the quicker you will get work done

Look at the Pressure Pro prices I have several and work the crap out of them with very little problems

Seems like you are quite new to all this PWing, do not geta 4gpm machine you will someday kick yourself for doing it 5.5 gpm or up. You might want to go work with someone for a few days to see the equipment and get a feel for it and learn

I only ask about this 4GPM machine , because I could get it for about $3500, about 30 hours on it with a 150 galon water tank, osmosis water filtration and its on the skid. :rolleyes: :) :rolleyes: :D :rolleyes:
