I live there now, we have been waiting for 4 years to make this move. Effect me? Not yet but it will effect the entire area soon.Man thats bad. You know they have a solution but wont do it. Why you ask well I can answer that. One thing I do know is that it sucks A** for the one that are living with it.
Hope your not affected by it to much Russ
Do you ever think they will get it anywhere near back to normal?
About 15 miles from you! I looked for you the other day in Daphne, saw your van over by Home Depot in the shopping center next to it and called your number and it went straight to voice mail.Where did you end up moving to?
I am less tha 1/10 of a mile from Fairhope High School on Pemberton Loop
Wow, that is horrible. Whenever I think about what is going on down there it makes me ill. This is like death, it is horrible but that fact that it's happened cannot be undone.

Well, get ready to march Jeff, and have your peasants blow the trumpet, because when the oil gets mixed into the loop current there is a HIGH HIGH liklihood of it affecting EVERY STATE on the east coast as well. It may take a while to get there, but,at the rate BP is moving to "fix" this, it will reach your shores in the Carolinas before they are through scratching each others' scrotums and dancing with Paul Mcartney. At least that may light a fire under the asses of govt and get them moving faster since it ( the oil) will be in their neck of the woods.
It seems they could really give a spit about all of us here in the gulf.
I hate BP FOREVER. However this is not about the politics Uncle Slobama and BP are spinning it up to be. It's about saving OUR GULF. THIS is what's real Life, not the effing politics ( however much you enjoy engaging in those politicol conversations).
Dumb A$$ Obama declined help from the Saudis ( and other offers of humanitarianism) who are EXPERTS in oil skimming and recovery. He also declined two oil sea vessles that are designed just for this type of MONUMENTAL EFF UP BP has thrown on our shores.
Each ship holds several millions of gallons with seperation units.
Let me see,...... who's week is it to change the "stained" bedsheets????? BP or Richard head Obama.
I pretty much hate them both.
While the BP CEO is whining about " wanting his life back".
C'mon over here CEO I'll give you your life............ into enternity.
Get your fishing pole out now Jeff , or King , or whatever your title is these days.
Catch as many fish as you can while they are not contaminated full of benzene or dead and bloated.
If BP and uncle Odumba don't get it together really quick, your beaches will be just as black as ours this time next year, or even sooner.
Sorry for venting so violently folks, this is just killing me, really bad.
"Excuse me sir, could you give me directions to the DEAD SEA"?
Sure son, just go south............anywhere south.
...and the second angel poured his vial into the sea.........
This is awful folks, and we haven't seen anything yet.
Yes Greg it's true.Adrian I didnt hear about the oil skimming ships being declined. I dont care if the dotheads help its about time they reciprocated.
