Wood or metal deck

In the process of building a new trailer unit. My current set-up has a wooden floor. I have seen trailers with 1/8" diamond plate flooring, with Rhino Lining covering the entire trailer.

What do you guys suggest, wood plank (2"x8") of steel ?

Jim if your going "all out" on the machines you mentioned in another post, I would go "all out" on the deck too.

I use no Wood, if you want to see one of my rigs , call me during the week and when ones in your backyard you can go look at it.

I use non grinding paint and rhino.. sand blast everything first

I use expanded metal on the deck of my trailers. I have one with plate, but I prefer the expanded.

Thanks guys, I assumed metal was they way to go, but why assume when all I need to do is ask the pros.

This is my first self built trailer set-up and I want to make sure I do things correctly.
