Whoreing up the winter market

A St Augustine company just put out an advertisement for pressure cleaning any house up to 2,000 s.f. that includes the driveway special -- $125 for everything. Must call by end of November to get price. Now that's a low price.

I'm doing a driveway in Julington Creek tomorrow for $150.00

Must be one of the larger one, I used to knock those out in no time back in the day. also St johns golf and country club, lot of money to be made over there also. Deer Creek, Deer Run.. I lived over in Eagle Harbor for 4 years. Nice place.. so much work to be done. Easy Money if you have the skills and equipment.

Yep. Just about an hour from roll out to roll up and post treat. Paid cash too.

Nice. That's how its done brother. Today we had the "keep up with the jones" happen, One sidewalk turned into 3 driveways 2 more sidewalks and a pool cage/deck/screen job. Sometimes you get there at the right time and they see the equipment and want it done. Today was a great day for us. And that was after a Tile roof job which we did the house/pool cage/driveway-sidewalks. then another pool cage then the all those other job at the end of the day. Love our business!

I need to upgrade equipment when i get the cash in spring...for past several years I've been using 4000psi 4gpm cold water washer, 50ft hose n xjet... 2 gal sh to 3 water with 35ft chem hose of course carrying that around... basically 2000sqr ft 2 story home i charge friends 125 n customers 200 which takes me 2.5 - 3.5hrs...my main question, is that decent average time with my equipment...i usually use the whole 5 gallons of sh.. no ladders unless 6ft for hard to reach areas... next year i might start off with 300ft hose don't have to move washer around n 20gallon container on cart or dollie... def putting new pump on, mine is 7 yrs old n think it's not as strong..... i started out 13yrs ago with just a 2800psi n water lol all day for a house...rookie mistake... so 3 hrs now def improvement but any suggestions.... i am thinking about adding tsp n ultra to my mix also see if that helps

Get a down streamer for the houses. Get a 2540, 0040, 2510 and 0010 nozzles with the 4 nozzle Jrod to hold them and use the down streamer with. Don't add tsp. Get an extra 150' of hose so you can keep the machine on the rig. Raise your prices.

I agree it's almost a lock when you work on Saturday's someone is going to walk over and ask for a quote.

problem with prices around me is this everyone n their grandmother buys power washers from lowes n they have spray painted yard signs everywhere saying 50%off...which is around my price now.... it's killing me cause few years back i was getting 100-150hr...except for not having a better machine all my work windows, gutters, dryer vent etc is all professional... i strive for excellence beings iam owner /operator plus i love this work, turning 40 couple weeks so I've been doing this since mid 20s... i been out of it for 2 years on account moved to CO worked at Coors just moved back... my time in business not one complaint, every job was referral and so far this year every job paid me extra 20-80 cause they were extremely satisfied... i try to explain to the customer that these low balling people don't have the experience plus once their new equipment, trucks ect. start breaking down n costing them money, they'll soon realize their prices aren't going to cover all these problems that we already faced... but for now I'll make it work...i tell customers n potential customers my previous statement and that i like to make home maintenance affordable again...I might not make alot of cash per job from the get go but by acquiring the people that wouldn't have gotten done cause of higher prices, now they might rethink... hopefully it leads to more clients in the long run which means more money.... right now iam busy with gutters which is flat rate 60....dryer vent 60...but while iam at my clients house i up sell dryer vent for half price.... it only takes 20 min of that... then if my client does my leg work n gets 5+houses done same day same neighborhood that client gets their service free.... also u have one truck n myself, once n awhile helper for Windows, so not much over head.. anyways a lot of low ballers south jersey n i just do what needs to be done,.... within reason of course

I've never downstreamed i do use xjet m5 which i like alot... carrying chemical little bit doesn't bother me but from what i see xjet or injector is all personal preference i guess... i don't see either way being that much faster than the other.... ive only done it my way though so I am only assuming this from forums etc... thanks for your feed back.... this app n LinkedIn are awesome where was this year's ago when everything i did was trial n error lol... as much as i think i know iam always learning more, other tricks, etc.... for houses though an my setup 2 gallons of sh, 3 gallon water n how ever much ultra should do the trick correct? or any other preference that is better n not so costly

First please fill out your signature.

I also deal with the same guys and signs. But i can say I'm at least $100 more than your prices on average. I sell on quality so people see thru the low ballers. Also we are fully insured which none of those 50% off guys are. Sell the value of your service not the low price
